A microsite promoting Nerve's book Sex Advice From... in conjunction with Chronicle Books, this Flash application presents excerpts from the book. An XML file feeds the data to the Flash, which is parsed, randomized and output to the page.

In the first quarter of 2006, Nerve decided to consolidate a standard layout to all of its blogs with the aim of giving them all a sense of branding, while retaining individual identities. The result is the Nerve Blog layout.
Typography overlaid onto creative photography serve in place of a more traditional magazine cover, meant to entice the visitor to click to read the article. Examples are shown using an XML/Flash Actionscript driven image cycler developed to dynamically serve graphics to Nerve's homepage.
As part of a promotion, V2 Records worked with Nerve to promote Moby's album Hotel. Meant to be all-graphic, this was exclusively done in Photoshop to be output as a graphic (96k) for a webpage.
An editorial flash gallery for Nerve's Politics Issue written and illustrated by Marcus Hall. Edited by Nerve. The Flash interface is written in Actionscript to allow for real-time transitional effects as triggered by navigation buttons at the top of the page.
This site uses a custom-built content management system in PHP/MySQL, as well as features a purely CSS/XHTML driven user interface, allowing for me to update my web photography portfolio without the need to edit HTML or FTP files to a server..
